Anirudh Varma Collective
The Anirudh Varma Collective is a contemporary Indian Classical Ensemble, based out of New Delhi, India. The music of the Anirudh Varma Collective is a rich blend of intricate rhythms, beautiful melodies, and fresh harmonies that bring together the best of traditional and modern music. Exploring the contemporary Indian classical genre, their songs evoke nostalgia and give it a new color.
The Anirudh Varma Collective is globally recognized to bridge classical traditions with a modern sensibility and reimagining it for a diverse and evolving global audience. AVC got the opportunity to collaborate with the top Bollywood music composers in India - Salim Suleiman, as part of their project ‘Soundchk Season 2. Since its inception in 2018, the Collective has presented over 600 concerts across India, Maldives, Kuwait, Dubai & USA.
The ensemble has released three studio albums – Perspectives (2018), Homecoming (2022) and Sabr (2025), featuring over 200 artists across the globe. The Anirudh Varma Collective has grown beyond the idea of a music ensemble. It is now a living, evolving community—one that brings together independent artists from across genres, disciplines, and creative worlds. Within it, musicians, lyricists, visual artists, and illustrators converge, each voice distinct, yet part of a shared artistic language.
