Arrow Street Arts (ASA) seeks experienced, entrepreneurial, and kind performing arts professionals to form the inaugural team for the launch of this new nonprofit venture.

PRODUCTION OPPORTUNITIES

ASA is searching for three seasoned technical theater experts who will collaborate with venue licensees to provide professional production services of the highest quality.  Given ASA’s implementation of leading-edge technologies, we are committed to providing the continuing professional development training and support necessary to ensure the production team’s success.

The PRODUCTION MANAGER will oversee all aspects of production services from initial walk-through to final performance and load out. This successful candidate will be a compelling leader able to prioritize, work calmly under pressure, and have outstanding communication skills. The PM is expected to coordinate, supervise, and be an available, hands-on presence for the installation, maintenance, and inventory of technical equipment. The PM will manage budgets, establish technical schedules/deadlines, determine overhire needs, and oversee staff training.  With two direct reports (Chief Audio Engineer and Chief Lighting Officer), the Production Manager will facilitate communication between venue licensees and ASA tech staff.  The PM will work closely with a range of artists and performers to understand and deliver on production requirements for dance, musical theater, concerts, opera, cinema, and more. Salary: $110K-$125K, plus benefits. 

The CHIEF AUDIO ENGINEER is responsible for all aspects of the operations of audio and audio-related systems, including their integration with the permanent facility, sets, lighting systems, and special effects. Informed by our work with acousticians at Acentech, ASA partnered with Meyer Sound to design and install a comprehensive audio package featuring Meyer’s just-released new version of Constellation /Nadia (see specs in the full job description). Salary: $80K-100K plus benefits.

The CHIEF LIGHTING OFFICER is responsible for all aspects of the operations of lighting and lighting-related systems, including their integration with the permanent facility, sets, audio systems, and special effects. We have partnered with ETC/High End Systems to create a maximally flexible and powerful lighting ecosystem (see specs in the full job description). Salary: $80K-100K plus benefits.
