  • Unless otherwise noted, the use of all cameras and all recording devices during performances is prohibited.

  • Our venue does not have a coat check.

  • When identified by the production, Arrow Street Arts offers advisories to help identify production elements and content that may be triggering or inappropriate for some. This information will be listed on each event’s detail view on our website.

  • There is no dress code. Audience members attend our performances in everything from jeans to formal attire. Come as you are.

  • Please remember to silence all watches, pagers, phones and other mobile devices prior to the performance and again at intermission.

    Note: Some services that Arrow Street Arts offers to make performances accessible to people living with a disability require use of small electronic devices during the show. You may see fellow audience members using ear/headphones and/or mobile devices. Those using such devices are given instructions for proper use of these devices to access content during the performance. Unless you are taking part in one of the services offered, please keep your electronic devices stowed away during the entire performance.

  • If you or someone in your party is feeling ill or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home. Contact us at tickets@arrowstarts.org or 617-299-2300 to exchange your tickets.

    Masks are strongly encouraged for all.

    Certain companies performing in our venue may require masks and/or proof of vaccination for entry. Be sure to visit the show's page prior to your performance for the most up-to-date information and policies. Please also carefully read pre-performance emails for important information pertaining to your performance as policies are subject to change at any time.

    Arrow Street Arts’ venue is a smoke-free facility; use of tobacco products, electronic smoking devices and handheld vaporizers anywhere in the venue is prohibited.

    Entry into the venue with weapons or illegal drugs is prohibited.

    For your comfort and security, you may be subject to additional security checks on your visit to Arrow Street Arts’ venue. We appreciate your patience and understanding while these are taking place.

  • The safety of our audience, artists, and staff is very important to us. While we rarely cancel a performance due to inclement weather, please contact us if you have concerns about your ability to attend.

    If we make the decision to cancel or postpone a performance, we will attempt to contact all ticket holders in advance of the announced start time and we will post notice on our website and social media.

  • Please note the performance time for the event you will be attending and arrive early. In consideration of our actors and other audience members‚ latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the management. For events with reserved seating, latecomers may be seated in alternate seats to those purchased.

  • When available from the production, Arrow Street Arts posts the performance duration on the event detail page on our website and at the entrance to the performance space prior to the event.

  • Items found may be given to an usher or other member of our staff. To inquire about missing items, contact us at info@arrowstarts.org or 617-299-2300.

  • Arrow Street Arts’ venue offers bar and concessions services including snacks, water, soft drinks, and at select events, alcoholic beverages. All concessions items are permitted inside the performance spaces.

  • Located off the lobby between the Black Box and the Studio, we offer all-gender, private toilet rooms in a single location. During busy times pre-show and at intermission, a single queue will form for all guests.

  • There is a bike rack just outside our entrance.

    MBTA Bus Route #1 offers stops within one block of the venue:

    Outbound (from Boston) includes stops on Mass Ave at Trowbridge St (525 feet from the venue) and at Bow St (560 feet from the venue).

    Inbound (from Harvard Sq) includes stops on Mount Auburn Street at DeWolfe St (420 ft from venue) and at Putnam Ave (450 ft from venue).

    MBTA’s Red Line subway and many other MBTA Bus routes (the # 66, 68, 69, 71, 72, 73, 72/75, 74, 75, 77, 78, 86, and 96) stop in Harvard Square, approximately 0.3 miles or an 8-minute walk from the venue.

    The closest Bluebikes stations are located at 10 Ware Street (0.2 miles from the venue), 955 Mass Ave (0.3 mi), and in the center of Harvard Sq at intersection of Mass Ave + Dunster (0.3 mi)

    The venue does not have dedicated parking.

    Limited on-street parking is available on Arrow Street and on many streets surrounding the venue.
